Declan Roberts is a designer and artist currently studying Industrial Design at Emily Carr University in Vancouver. Originally from Calgary, he spent his summers in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia, where he developed a deep appreciation for the intertidal zone—a recurring source of inspiration in his work. Declan specializes in furniture design, with a focus on showcasing the unique qualities of each material he works with. His practice often draws from the natural forms and rhythms of the Bay of Fundy, reflecting his passion for biophilic design and a creative process rooted in direct engagement with nature.
